Schedule of Events

Once again, this isn't just a one day event. The main event will still be Saturday April 14th, 2012 in Moonshine, IL, but other things will be planned during the 12th - 15th.
Please sign in once you arrive. This will help with count of how many people showed up at event. You can sign in at cookout on Thursday, Richard's Farm on Friday and Saturday at Comfort Inn and Moonshine.
Thursday April 12th - Cookout
5:00 - 10:00 PM Jim Bolin and his crew will be cooking/smoking BBQ pork. He will supply bake beans and other sides. Hamburgers and brats will be provided along with drinks. This will be at the Hammond Farm. Here is a Map to the farm.
Friday April 13th - Lunch, Ride and Dinner
10:30 AM, Sharp! We will leave the Comfort Inn parking lot in Casey and ride up to Unique Suites hotel in Charleston, IL where we can eat as one large group. The menu will be grilled chicken, sliced BBQ pork and sliced BBQ beef brisket, baked beans, coleslaw, cookies, brownies, lemonade and iced tea for 12.00 including tax and gratuity. Afterwards, You can choose to ride to Corvette museum or private antique tractor display.
Between 6:00 - 9:00 PM, we will once again meet at Richards Farm Restaurant in Casey, IL. This place has great food and is always a great time socializing. Please enter through front and pay before you eat. It will be 17.00 dollars which includes tax and gratuity. We will once again have the almost legendary "Awards Banquet" during the meal. We will shoot for 7:00 PM. It is a "Must Make" if at all possible!

Saturday April 14th - Moonburgers!
Starting at 7:00 AM, come by the Casey Comfort Inn/Moonshine Headquarters. Here is a Map.
Free coffee and the sweet roll lady will once again be there selling delicious sweet rolls. She will be set up at the Comfort Inn. She donates her time, ingredients and all money taken in goes to the Moonshine Mission Fund. She will only be there from 7:00 - 10:00 AM make sure and get there early as these are GREAT. Make sure you thank her for all she does!
At 8:15 AM, there will be a "Blessing of the bikes" in the Comfort Inn parking lot. Thanks to CMA Chapter #836!
At 8:30 AM, the rough rode riders will take off in search of creek crossings and gravel/dirt roads.
We will start sending groups of people down to Moonshine with "guides" to get us all there starting around 8:35 AM and about every 30 minutes until the last group leaves at 11:30 AM. Remember, Helen will serve food until 12:30 PM or until the line finally dies out, but lets try and get ordered before 12:30 PM SHARP like Moonshine is famous for! If you go straight to the store, here is the Map.
Between 5:00 - 6:30 PM, because of having so many people wanting to eat together, the Firefighters in Casey are going to put together a great Chili Supper. Chili, hot dogs, veggies, drinks, and cake will be provided. A 50/50 drawing will be at 6:30 PM. The supper and drawing go towards a new building for the Fire Department. It will be at the High School located at 306 E. Georgia. Hopefully, there won't be any calls this year! Here is a Map
You can even buy Chili Supper tickets in advance for 6.00 dollars or pay at the door for 7.00 dollars. We will have a list at the door of who has paid. Prepay will end Wed April 11, 2012 at 6:00 PM.
Sunday April 15th - Breakfast
Between 6:00 - 8:00 AM, Breakfast will be at the Comfort Inn. There will be eggs, ham, sausage and biscuits and gravy. Any left over sweet rolls from Saturday, we can heat up and eat. Cost? Free! Ok, we might have a hat to toss a $ or 3 in, but way cheaper than a restaurant. Plus, we get to all be together before leaving with a full stomach. Be sure to thank Rick for everything!
At 9:00 AM, there will be a short service provided by the Christian Motorcycle Association Chapter #836 at the Comfort Inn.
Times might get tweaked. Well, this is Moonshine and as far from an organized schedule as possible... LOL!!!
